All evaluations are based on structured testing methods designed to create consistent, repeatable, and comparable results.

Our methodology is built on four principles:

All scoring criteria and evaluation factors are disclosed.

Each candle is evaluated across key performance categories:

  • Burn consistency

  • Melt pool development

  • Fragrance throw (cold & hot)

  • Wick stability

  • Carbon buildup

  • Glass adhesion

  • Burn time

Each category is assessed independently and contributes to overall performance scoring.

Typical testing includes:

  • Initial burn analysis

  • Multiple burn cycles

  • Wick trimming intervals

  • Environmental consistency checks

  • Performance documentation

For benchmark reports, additional third-party lab testing may be included.

Each candle is evaluated using a structured scoring system.

Scores are based on observed performance across all categories and are compiled into an overall performance rating.

Full scoring breakdowns are published within each report.

For seasonal performance reports and benchmark comparisons, candles may be tested through independent third-party laboratories.

This ensures an additional layer of objectivity and validation.
